Asbestos Reinspections

Why?

Asbestos surveys can be useful, but how you use the results is just as important. Asbestos products naturally deteriorate over time; it is imperative to have a plan in place to deal with this. Periodically check identified areas and make adjustments to the plan if materials deteriorate, are remediated, or removed.

Hazard Management has a team of professionals who can help you develop an asbestos management plan. Our consultants will make recommendations on how to manage ACMs in your workplace.  After conducting a site visit and inspection, we will provide you with a report detailing our findings and including recommendations for how best to manage any asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) found in your workplace.

Technical

If you a person in control of a workplace in Auckland, you're probably already aware that you have to keep your asbestos management plan up-to-date. After all, section 14 of the Asbestos Regulations (2004) states that you must review and revise your plan if any materials are removed, disturbed, sealed or encapsulated. It's also important to review your management plan every five years from the last review date.

But what happens if you don't have the time or resources to keep up with all these requirements? Or what if someone else is responsible for keeping track of everything and they're just… not doing it?

With our asbestos reinspections services, we can relieve some of that burden from your shoulders. We'll review the management plan and keep all the relevant documentation up-to-date for you so that nothing falls through the cracks—and there's no need to worry about whether anything was missed! We'll visit the site to validate the information concerning materials such as condition or damage are accurate as well, so rest easy knowing everything is in order.
